ALEC – Director

Alec started repairing Classic Mini’s from a young age and began to grow his technical knowledge and skills even before attending Eastleigh college to study engineering. From there Alec began to work on his iconic Mini you can see today, originally blue at the time this was built for Alec and his brother Keith to enjoy. Alec founded South Coast Vehicle Restoration in 2014 to pursue his passion full time. His love of cars, coupled with his extensive knowledge of repair techniques, has given Alec the reputation he deserves for chasing the highest quality workmanship that the whole team delivers. Sadly Alec’s brother, Keith, passed away in 2016 to leukaemia, and so never got to see the way the Mini they both enjoyed, looks today. The bright orange “Pocket Rocket” can be seen (and heard) at car shows all over the south.
